Description:
A beautiful specimen of the Hieroglyphic Moth which is the only species in the Subfamily Diphtherinae, Family Nolidae. This moth has also been spotted on the coast of Oaxaca (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/491696026/fullscreen) and in southern Chiapas (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/2132126002/fullscreen).
Habitat:
Came to the lights of a store, Axtla de Terrazas near Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
