Description:

A very lovely forest Cockroach, about 1.5 cm long. The upper wings of this cockroach can vary in color from black to blue-black to reddish-brown. Family Ectobiidae.

Habitat:

Huasteca Forest, Edward James Surrealism Park, Xilitla, San Luis Potosí.

I have checked an option that PN has..I get an email whenever someone suggests an ID. I hate to have unknown spottings (rather childish...sorry) and feel a deep sense of satisfaction when a spotting gets a name. I detest cockroaches...but your spotting was actually attractive!
