Field Notes

Description:

Small white fungi with a tan underside. These were growing on the underside of a rotting log and thus were trying to bend upwards towards the light. They have a crystal-like texture to their upper side.

Habitat:

Huasteca Forest, Edward James Surrealism Park, Xilitla, San Luis Potosí.
