Field Notes

Description:

This earthworm was dark-pinkish brown, tube-shaped, & segmented.
It appeared to be of reproductive age and seemed to be in good health. Fun fact: Earthworms' digestive systems run through the complete length of their bodies!

Habitat:

This earthworm was found crawling out of the grass after pouring a mustard & water solution on the soil. It feed on live and dead organic matter during observation.

Notes:

This worm was found during a Urban Nature class!
