The beak is a bit longer on the greater than the lesser, but an easier way to tell is by their call. Greater Yellowlegs typically make a three-note call tew-tew-tew whereas Lesser Yellowlegs have a bit of a softer call and make a tu-tu noise. May seem a little silly. To bad we can't put bird calls on here.
Either Lesser or Greater... species can most likely not be told from these images.
