Field Notes

Description:

Very tiny egg sac hanging from one main thread and anchored by others. Egg sac is brown and has red and white stripes where the main thread connects.

Habitat:

Woodland habitat hanging on the underside of a shrub leaf.

Notes:

I was really surprised I even saw this one. Very small and difficult to see. Oddly enough, I found two more about a week later. I had never seen one before.
