Field Notes

Description:

Medium-sized bird. Rufous colour on chest but fading down the belly to a dirty whitish colour.

Habitat:

Hotel campus in Guadalajara, Mexico. So many lifers for me! The area was mid-city with a busy road outside and malls just 10 mins walk away but the hotel itself had sprawling grounds with water sources, hedges and trees...my morning strolls were richly rewarded. Another lifer.
