Description:
A rarely seen Millipede in which the tips of the body segments are laterally expanded and glow in the dark (see last picture). There is also a tiny baby Millipede present, close to the adult and often hiding underneath it. The body segments of the adult are very rugose. About 5 cm long. Buried in the moss and leaf litter of the forest floor.
Habitat:
Huasteca Forest, Edward James Surrealism Park, Xilitla, San Luis Potosí.
