Field Notes

Description:

Looks like a bit of wood shaving or a wood cicada (elongated body shape) but is actually a moth.

Habitat:

Hiding behind the main gate of the monastery near the tourist town of Ravangla, Sikkim, India. It was huddled against the wall.

Notes:

October is not the best time for moth-ing and it was raining too, yet I did get to photograph some moths I had not seen before
