A typical fall and winter bird have grey/brownish crown and upperparts; variable yellow underparts dark yellow on flanks and belly; pale whitish eyebrow

Habitat:

Short grasslands, lake-shores, swampy areas and wet meadows.

Notes:

A Palearctic migrant from Sept-May
