Description:

Was seen in a riparian habitat. Sat here for a long time. The ground squirrels had set off the alarm and that is how i noticed it.

Most animals are afraid of the color white because it is a warning coloration. This may explain why the squirrels were alarmed. It may also be quite large due to domestication. Many oddball individuals are ostracized by their own kind. This might be why this pigeon was alone.
