Description:

This beautiful pea flower, about 2" high and wide, was on a hearty vine about six feet up The pods are about 10" long and half an inch wide, with a tendency to emerge horizontally instead of hanging straight down. There are purple streaks emerging from the mouth of the flower, which is pure white.

Habitat:

This was found hanging from the trees at the edge of pastureland carved from rainforest near the Macal River in western Belize
