Field Notes

Habitat:

Caribbean (Curacao) on very near shore reef off of a tourist beach. 5-20ft depth. (see map location)

Notes:

I'm finding conflicting photos on web and book ID references. Not sure if this is a Fused Staghorn Coral (Acropora cervicornis [forma prolifera]) or an Elkhorn Coral (Acropora palmate). thank you for any help regarding better ID.
