Happy new year to you too! Yes, the immatures have a lot of thin bands on the tail, whereas a red-shouldered would have much wider bands
Thanks Ashley, I thought of a Red-tail but the tail didn't seem red enough. Immature makes sense. Happy New Year by the way!
