Description:

Small, shiny yellow-orange spider with dark front legs, the first two pairs longer than the second 2 pair. Family Thomisidae. A Crab Spider very similar to S. parvulum, the Black Tail Crab Spider, except that the black on the tail of this one is a thinner line than usually shown. See:

Habitat:

Huasteca Forest, Edward James Surrealism Park, Xilitla, San Luis Potosí.

Thank you Bill :) It sure does look like your spotting of Synema parvulum. The line on the tail is much thinner, so I'm not sure if it is the same species.
Perhaps Misumessus sp. or Synema sp. to get you started. I found a couple that were similar but have obvious differences. Good luck!
