Description:
Lactarius fulvissimus is a species of fungus in the Russulaceae family. It was first described scientifically by Henri Romagnesi in 1954.
Habitat:
Beech forest in mount Chortiatis (Thessaloniki, Greece).
Notes:
Fruitbody of Lactarius fulvissimus is ectomycorrhizal with live root of Fagus.
