Boa Constrictor, Red-tailed Boa

While this might be technically a Red-tailed Boa, as you can see the tail isn't very red. This boa was about 7' long, with markings that served to camouflage it nicely on the forest floor, as you can see. A calm snake, it was apprehended in a rabbit hutch, having eaten the rabbit, which could be seen as a large bulge about two feet down its length. During its release, it upchucked the rabbit and slithered off into the rainforest.
