Field Notes

Description:

Very small moths. Striped black, gray and white or very slightly tannish. Moths would land on the ground and hold still, blending in almost perfectly with the debris on the trail.

Habitat:

Woodland areas in Connetquot River State Park, NY.

Notes:

First moths of the new year!
