Field Notes

Description:

Three deer without antlers. It's early spring so I'm not sure if they're males who haven't started to grow any, or if they're really females. Dark to medium brown upper coats with white bellies and tails.

Habitat:

They were spotted in the field behind my apartment. It borders a forest with both deciduous and coniferous trees. There is a marsh nearby.

Notes:

These deer were spotted feeding around 7:15 am.
