Description:

Nocturnal moderate size frog.Breeds in large numbers after the first heavy rains of the wet season.

Habitat:

Occurs in undisturbed forests and secondary growth including plantations and agricultural areas. Endemic to Costa Rica and western Panama between 1100-2300 m.
