Field Notes

Description:

Pretty tall.
Has an "inverted" shaped cap with a bulge- presumably because of the stem- in the middle.
One part of the edge of the cap is pointed/tapered, giving the cap a shape like that of the top of a pitcher, or a tear drop.
I believe it has gills.
Off-white to tan in color. The edges of the cap are lighter, and as it goes inward to the center it gets darker. The bulge in the center is also of lighter color. The stem gradually gets darker the further down on it you go.

Habitat:

Found on a hike in the woods, in a mostly shady area.
Many mushrooms had popped up from the all the recent rain and humidity.

Notes:

Note: I do not have the exact coordinates for this spotting, I apologize.
