Description:

Heron family.
Like most herons can extend their necks out to reach it's prey. Stand perfectly still and move very slowly. Long thick bill. Chestnut back and bold creamy color and chestnut vertical stripes on neck.

Habitat:

Found feeding and hiding in tall reeds at the edge of a small lake.
