Field Notes

Description:

Red siamese fighting fish (male). These fish may came in a vast variety of colors, like white, blue, pink, black, among others.
Males have long tail and fins, contrary to the females who have these structures short.

Habitat:

This one lives in one of my aquariums, but at their natural habitat on southeast Asia, they live in small lakes, ponds and rice fields.

Notes:

Males are very agressive towards each other.
