Field Notes

Description:

This Cheetah seemed to be just lazing around in the shade of this small tree, we waited for ages to see it it would get up but it seemed quite content just to relax here. After watching it like this you would find it hard to believe it is the fastest animal on land reaching speeds of 70mph doing 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. fortunately we saw some more active ones at Ngorongoro.

Habitat:

Seen at Serengeti national park, Tanzania
