Field Notes

Description:

Order: Odonata. Suborder: Zygoptera. Family: Coenagrionidae. A small violet/pink colored damselfly. 1 inch long (2.54 cm)

Habitat:

Meadow (on the property I live) with abundant flowers and weeds.

Notes:

I believe this is the only damselfly I found in my meadow. Usually they are by water. (Native to Eastern USA)
