Field Notes

Description:

Looks like a largishe sparrow but sings infinitely better! Not very melodious but it was singing its heart out and it sat very still.Low light or else I could have got brighter shots...the bird was cooperative; the weather was not.

Habitat:

Land that is being gradually drawn into new township near Kolkata, this area is rich in reed-vegetation, grassland and some trees...a haven for birds till development ruins us all.

Notes:

A lifer for me.
