Field Notes

Description:

Handmaiden/Woolly bear moth, black coloration with red stripes and transparent spots on wings. Wingspan about 35-40 mm, more or less.

Habitat:

Urban settlement, close to small patches of jungle.

Thanks @ ornithoptera80, I guess you're right about the species, it might be some color- and pattern-variation.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I also checked out passalis, the spots are in the right places but they are of different sizes and the coloration of the abdomen is also off as my spotting is more reddish than yellow. It might be a subspecies, I honestly don't know :)
