Field Notes

Description:

A nurse shark at the Tulsa Aquarium. Nurse sharks were always the first shark I thought of as "harmless" when I was a child, I'm not sure why, other than them being bottom dwelling scavengers.

Habitat:

Found on the coasts of the US, Mexico, Central and South American, and the West Coast of Africa.
