Awesome series Kel,super last photo, congrats on the well deserved SOTD and thanks for sharing
Congratulations Kel, your Guava Skipper larvae are our Spotting of the Day: "The Guava Skipper (Phocides polybius), a butterfly in the family Hesperiidae native to the Americas, is one species where all life cycle stages have striking colors. This image shows its third instar larva close to pupating, where seemingly glowing yellow eye spots have appeared on the lower part of the front of the head capsule and a white waxy exudate formed on the caterpillar's surface. The adult is spectacular with iridescent blue hues".
