Description:

Digging through old photos of my Tulsa Zoo trip some time ago and finding photos I never uploaded, this is an egyptian plover, an animal sometimes called the "crocodile bird" because of its supposed symbiotic relationship with nile crocodiles.

Habitat:

Found all over Egypt and Sub Saharan Africa.
