Hi Hema and welcome to Project Noah. It sure is a moth.. looks like a nice geometridae. In the habitat field the intention is to put information about this particular specimen and where it was found eg 'On a mango tree in a small compound garden' or something similar. Being a moth the description might be useful if you say the size for example. Hope you enjoy using the website and we're looking forward to more interesting wildlife from your area. You could also read the FAQ http://www.projectnoah.org/faq to find more about our purpose. Have fun !!
