Field Notes

Description:

Yellow spider with a white band across the eyes. These spiders are very difficult to narrow down past the Genus level with photos. The eye arrangement, placement and size of the various eyes allow you to identify a few of the Genus in this Family. Unfortunately I was unable to get a straight shot of the face to ID to this level.

Habitat:

Native chaparral plant garden surrounded by Oak woodland. This spider was on a Verbena plant.
