Description:

Arbusto ramoso, color verde ceniciento, con ramillas ásperas al tacto. Hojas pequeñas, lineares, agudas. Flores unisexuales. Frutos carnosos comestibles.

Habitat:

Especie que muchas veces domina los terrenos secos y escarpados de las cordilleras de la costa y de los andes, a lo largo de todo Chile.
