Field Notes

Description:

Short, small and circular fungi found completely covered in leaves and pine straw. A glistening cream white color covers the entirety of the fungi. Its small base combined with a small and thin cut of circular fungi is reached by the sunlight.

Habitat:

Found in the outer perimeter of Bluffton high school grounds deep within the woods. Covered by pine straw and dead leaves the fungi absorbs some sunlight but only enough essential for survival.
