Description:
You can see 6 of the 7 that were on this plant if you look closely at photo 3. A Mangnolia Green Jumper also was hanging around, as you can see in photo 4
Habitat:
Milkweed in a suburban yard. These non-native milkweeds should have been cut down in the fall so the monarchs know to keep migrating, but unfortunately were not. The land owners didn't know these milkweeds need to be cut down, and they said they will cut them down next year and try to plant native milkweeds that die off at the right time.
Notes:
The last two photos were taken January 9, so you can see how much they grew in only 6 days
