Orchids in any form are gorgeous, and this one fits the bill...nice spotting, Felix!
I'd heard about the wildflower season in WA, but it was so much more than I'd imagined. And South Africa is still on the list!
Love orchid blossoms. The plants, not so much :-) Thanks Felix. Great shots.
Western Australia is famous for its wildflowers, and come spring also come the flowers (and the east coast tourists). I've been to WA many times, but never in spring, although I have been to South Africa a couple of times in spring. Amazing colours and varieties in otherwise harsh conditions. The two countries are very similar.
Yeah, I had no idea about the diversity until I started seeing them all over the place at a certain time in the year.
Beautiful orchid. They take on the most amazing forms.
