Description:

A dark sooty moth with thin black transverse wiggly lines. wing span was about 40 mm.
This moth is the black form of the species.

Habitat:

Drawn to bright lights in the garden. <br>

Notes:

Synonym: Praxis corvus <br>
Larvae feed on young gum leaves. <br>

Family: Geometridae
Subfamily: Ennominae
Tribe: Nacophorini
