Field Notes

Description:

Smoke-grey upperparts, head and upper breast; chestnut flank streaking with a short black bar in the closed wing. Very similar to Pallid Harrier.

Habitat:

Fairly common Palearctic passage migrants and visitors to grassland of Tanzania namely - Serengeti
