Interesting! I was going by the range, listed in wickipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chestnut-mandibled_toucan. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the name changes.
Hi Irene - that all depends upon which taxonomy you follow. The IOC does not recognise Chestnut-mandibled as a species, but rather a subspecies of Black-mandibled.
