Field Notes

Description:

Pale yellow with black dots. Attached with thin white filaments.

Habitat:

On a boundary wall.

Notes:

The butterfly emerged on Sunday 28 February 2016 and remained hanging almost listlessly for about 2 hours. I touched one of its legs lightly with a leaf because I was afraid of spiders and garden lizards, whereupon it flew away quite confidently.
