Field Notes

Description:

This tree was about 40-50 feet tall. It had elliptical leaves and a light brown trunk. The leaves were also a light green. The roots of the tree stuck of of the ground and were about 1 foot in height.. The diameter of the trunk was about 1 foot.

Habitat:

This was found in a secondary rainforest on a cloudy day in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, in Singapore. The forest was made up of other tall trees.
