•The name is mute swan because they are less vocal than other swan species.
•The mute swan is one of the haviest flying birds.
•They are usually strongly territorial.

Habitat:

Temperate areas of Europe, Asia and north Africa
They can be found in North America, but it is an introduced species
-I saw these swans in Travemünde(Germany)
