Description:

I really like how this solitary lioness was lying in the sun with her eyes shut and her front legs crossed just as a person would perhaps do, I think she realised she was being watched because she turned to look at us and then went to look at the great herd of wildebeest crossing the crater infront of her as if she hadnt really ben caught napping in the afternoon sun.

Habitat:

seen in the Ngorongoro crater, Tanzania
