Field Notes

Description:

This is a common jumping spider in my area. It measures about 3/8" long.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 5.5 months into the 6 month rainy season.

Notes:

This one is spotted on Ixora. I believe the prey item is a common house fly.
