Sorry, but this time it is the other one: Vanessa carye, the South American type of Vanessa cardui, Painted Lady. Vanessa braziliensis looks like this: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/19412301 Note the different spots on the hindwing and the colors ofthe markingson the forewing.
