Field Notes

Description:

These ladybirds can come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes, with some having no spots, and others having 22! This specimen was found inside a house, where many coop up during the cold winter of Japan. Compared to vibrant Singapore, there is very little wildlife there in the winter. Seen: innumerable crows, one fox, one deer, and of course this ladybug. Unfortunately no pictures of anything but the bug!

Notes:

Confirmation of identity would appreciated.
