Description:

Large crabs, this species has a blue shell, with about ten cm in length and weigh more than 500 g. They have unequal forceps, most reaching thirty centimeters, which facilitates bringing the food to the mouth, except for female, whose grippers are typically both of equal size.

Habitat:

The blue land crab can be found this the state of Florida in the United States, to the southeast of Brazil, often in places between the muddy mangrove and the transition area between it and the woods are usually sandy and wet lands.
