Field Notes

Description:

It measures 26 cm long and weighs 75 g. It has the tops with gray color and very clear bottoms, almost white. The eyes of adults are orange. Species without sexual dimorphism. The vocalization is notable for the skill with which mimic the songs and calls of other birds.

Habitat:

They are typical birds of the Atlantic Ocean coastline. They live in sandy soils with sparse vegetation rich in cactus. Can be found on the coast from Guyana to State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
