Description:

I have seen so many Spittlebug nests and immature spittlebugs, but it took me a little while to find an adult as shown here.

Habitat:

Found in some dandelions in a residential area. I have seen the spittlebug nests on several species of plants though, including orange hawkweed, dandelions, and grasses.
