Field Notes

Description:

Moss Rose (AKA: Rose Moss; Eleven O'clock; Mexican Rose, Sun Rose, Rock Rose; or Moss-Rose Purslane) spotted near Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. It has been a few months since I have seen any wild flowers, most died when the summer heat came in, but these were growing in the shadow of a structure where a dripping water source kept them from drying out.
